- Mayalipass - Vasukital - Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Rishikesh - Delhi
The
Khatling glacier is a lateral glacier, at the source of the river Bhilangana.
Sahasratal and Masartal are on the west and east of it respectively. The Valley
of Bhilangana affords a panoramic view of snow capped peaks and hanging glaciers.
Day-01-Delhi
Receiving of guests from NEW DELHI railway station- check in hotel.
Overnight in hotel.
Day-02 Delhi-Rishikesh
Drive to Rishikesh-is the base for Chardham Yatra and gateway of Garhwal Himalayas,
Hemkund Sahib and Valley of Flowers- visit ofTriveni Ghat, Laxman Jhoola, Bharat
Mandir, Neelkanth Mahadev -Halt at GMVN Tourist
Bungalow.
Day-03 Rishikesh-Uttarkashi
Drive to Uttarkashi--At
an elevation of 1158 meters on the bank of river
Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is an important pilgrimage center equated with Varanasi
or Kashi in Divinity.
Temple of Lord Vishwnath is located here along with other important temple like
Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav,etc. Every Year on the occassion of Mahamela people visit
Uttarkashi to take a Holy dip in Bhagirathi along with the idol of their local
deities-Halt at GMVN Tourist Bungalow.
Day-04 Uttarkashi-Silla Chhan
25 kms drive to Malla- Trek*9 kms to Silla Chhan with packed lunch. Dinner
and overnight in camp
Day-05 Silla Chhan-Kushkalyani
Trek*11 kms to Kushkalyani with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day-06 Kushkalyani-Kyarki
Trek*14 kms to Kyarki with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp
Day-07 Kyarki-Parital
Trek*18
kms to Parital with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in Camp
Day-08 Parital-Sahastral
Trek*12 kms to Bhimtal/ Taddiudyar via Sahasratal with packed lunch. Dinner
and overnight in camp.
Day-09 Sahastral - Kalyani
18 kms Trek*18 kms to Kalyani with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp
Day-10 Kalyani -Kharsoli
11 kms trek to Kharsoli with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day-11 Kharsoli-Chowki
Trek*12 kms to Chowki with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day-12 Chowki- Khatling Glacier-Chowki
Trek*6 kms to Khatling Glacier with packed lunch. In the afternoon, return trek
to Chowki. Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day-13 Chowki-Masartal
Trek*9 kms to Masartal with packed lunch-.A High Altitude lake. The place is
rich in Fauna. It's a small camping place Dinner and overnight in camp.
Day-14 Masartal-Vasukital
Trek*15 kms to Vasukital via Mayali-pass(5400 mts)Panyatal and Teental with
packed lunch-8 km trek from Kedarnath is the crystal clear pearl set in an unrivalled
setting-he Vasukital Lake.
From here originates the Vasuki Ganga which mingles with the Mandakini at Sonprayag
Dinner and overnight at Vasukital in camp.
Day-15 Vasukital-Kedarnath
Trek*8 kms to Kedarnath with packed lunch-The temple is magnificiant in its
style and architecture and to construct such a temple at this height over one
thousand years ago must have been quite a feat.
It is the abode of Lord Shiva and one of the famous Jyotirlinga. Halt at GMVN
tourist Bunglaow
Day-16 Kedarnath-Gaurikund
Trek*14 kms to Gaurikund with packed lunch-As per religious texts Goddess Parvati
meditated here for a considerable time to win a consort in Lord Shiva,Gauri
is another name of Parvati. Also a famous temple of Gauri is at Gaurikund-Halt
at GMVN tourist Bunglaow
Day-17 Gaurikund-Rishikesh
drive to Rishikesh -Halt at GMVN tourist Bunglaow
Day-18 Rishikesh-New Delhi
Drive Rishikesh to New Delhi via Haridwar
